One morning as Miss K and Shawn were finishing their morning time together, they noticed in the driveway, a small alligator. Upon closer inspection, he was definitely a baby, maybe 12-18″ long or so. They thought maybe an eagle or osprey had sadly and accidentally dropped him from the sky. He was surely not alive. As they attempted to move him out of the driveway he suddenly sprung to life! This little guy was as rowdy as they come. His senses directed him straight to the bayou where he ran and jumped in. …and he’s been here ever since. Why Piper you ask? Well, not long before this day, a good friend of Miss K and Shawn had a cat pass away named Rowdy. Shawn remembered one of the rowdiest wrestlers of all time, Mr. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and the name revealed itself. Piper the alligator honors the memory of Rowdy the cat, and embodies the attitude of Mr. Rowdy Roddy Piper, which you will see if he happens to show himself while you are at Turner the Page. He is DEFINITELY made in Doc’s image too, there is no doubt.
