DOC
THE STAR OF THE SHOW
In the Fall of 2017, a baby alligator appeared in the water from underneath the dock. He was only about 12-18″ in length. …and he kept coming back every Spring and stayed through the Fall since. These days, Doc is much larger and definitely does not go without being noticed. His favorite snacks are small animals, large birds and fish, snakes, turtles, etc. Occasionally he has been spotted eating discarded crawfish heads and shrimp. The best time to see Doc is late afternoon as the sun begins to set, and throughout the night time hours in the water. He loves being close to the dock, hence his namesake, as well as under the light by the fish cleaning table.
