Oh South Louisiana, I do adore thee. Thank you Lord for the hearts of our people.
I just want to encourage everyone who is hunkered down for the storm. Even though we are not together, we are in a sense very much in this together. The Lord has gathered some of the sweetest and strongest hearts in this beautiful land.
This is not a time to panic or a time for fear. This is a time to encourage each other, love on each other, and look to the only one in control. I say this to remind not just y’all, but myself. Anyone can panic, but imagine coming out of this and being able to share how all of the sudden a peace blanketed over your mind, and held onto you.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight.” -Prov. 3:5-6
That is where true peace is. Look at Mr. Vinny, sleeping like a baby without a care in the world. Let’s make that peace contagious my friends.
