When you live down the bayou, there is so much life, everywhere. …including cats. Out of the blue, suddenly appeared two of them. Miss K and Shawn noticed they were always together, laying in the sun, drifting away together in dreamland bliss, and even hunting together. Rarely where they seen apart. One of them, Mufasa, pictured here, is quite the character. In fact, he is not considered a cat at all. Mufasa, is Miss K and Shawn’s dog. …in every sense of the word. When he was first witnessed around the property, he would sit on top of a pile of old pilings, scanning the land for any predators, or prey to chase with Mama. Eventually, before they could be fixed, Mufasa and Mama had a few litters of babies, which is its own story. …but with each kitten, as Mama tended to their needs, Mufasa would again find a tall perch, and scan over his kingdom in order to protect them. The ultimate protector, indeed. His earned his name easily. Mufasa, the king of the cats of Turner the Page. He is also known by the nicknames “Rocket”, “Fasa Man”, “Bowling Ball”, “Good Boy”. These days, Mufasa won’t be seen outside, but he still very much is ruling over his kingdom, from the air conditioned comforts of INSIDE the house. You might witness him from time to time while at Turner the Page, peering out over his land from his perch at each window.
