NINA
ALL I NEED IS A MIRACLE, ALL I NEED IS YOU
Nina was born into a litter of three: the “Nina”, the “Pint Size”, and the “Santa Mario”. She was seen many times throughout the days, playing with her brothers, learning how to hunt from Mufasa and Mama, and overall just being a cute little puffball bouncing around the property. One day, Nina suddenly sustained horrific injuries. As a result, she completely disappeared and was alone for a week. The bayou is big and dark and scary for a tiny kitten who is hurt and has no food or water. If you are interested, you can always ask Miss K or Shawn and they are happy to tell you the whole story. It is truly hard to believe. To make a long story short, through an absolute miracle, Nina survived and after 2 weeks at the vet clinic, she arrived to her permanent home inside Turner the Page. To this day, as a result of her injuries from when she was a kitten, Nina’s head is a little cocked to the side, and her peripheral vision isn’t great. The blessing in this is when she wants treats, or simply wants to be close to you, her little cocked head looks as if she is intently listening to every word you say. ..the little miracle cat of Turner the Page. Fittingly, Nina’s nickname is “Cat Cloud” because when you pick her up, it feels as if you just picked up a little hairy cat shaped cloud of softness. As noted above, you won’t see Nina outdoors, as she lives her life of luxury and safety inside the house. You may, however, catch a glimpse of her on her cat tree “taco” next to the west windows as she bathes in the sun.
